As the product designer, I was tasked to design a compelling prototype that will drive home the USP of this solution. how this digital solution would improve operations management through intuitive, light-weight and where efficiencies in areas such as loan disbursement and loan recovery were to be monitored and tested.
The Challenge
The Issue of Recovery
Working with a micro-finance bank, where the prototype would be tested, we pinpointed pain areas in the operation flow of loan recovery. One major area was the break in communication between the loan officer and headquarters when he or she was out in the field. There were no ways of monitoring where the officer went, number of meetings had and confirming the amounts brought back were indeed in line with targets.

micro-finance banks and getting officers started with the mobile app.
To ensure the vision of ease carried through, the interface showed only required information with the intention of improving quick load times even on the slowest mobile data plans. This was because there was no guarantee that field officers would always be in areas of connectivity.

Branding the Idea
As my mandate was to ultimately support the business development team with strong visuals and examples of the product, my skill set in branding was leveraged.
The Prototype Output
By the end of the project we had successfully delivered the visuals that highlighted three key flows that tied directly to USP solutions provided by MycroVault. This included: Biometrics authentication of clients, realtime geo-tracking of loan officers, automated decision making and improved reporting capabilities.
